 WARE MALCOMB SEATTLE PROMOTES JONATHAN THOMAS TO REGIONAL MANAGER

 SEATTLE (November 8, 2016) – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced Jonathan Thomas has been promoted to Regional Manager in the firm’s Seattle office. In this position, he will help lead the overall growth and management of the office, in addition to joining the firm’s Pacific Northwest regional leadership team for the Pleasanton, Calif., San Francisco and Seattle offices. Ware Malcomb provides architectural design, interior design, branding, civil engineering and planning services for commercial real estate and corporate clients.

“Jonathan played an integral role in the launch of our new commercial architectural studio last year, building an architectural team that has seamlessly integrated with our interior design team to expand our reach into major corporate accounts,” said Alan Lambert, Regional Director of Ware Malcomb’s Seattle office. “We look forward to his continued leadership contributions to the firm, not only here in Seattle, but across our operations in the Pacific Northwest.”

Jonathan joined Ware Malcomb in 2010 in the firm’s Denver office, moved to the Irvine headquarters in 2011 as a Project Designer, and in 2015 was promoted to Studio Manager to lead Ware Malcomb’s new commercial architecture team in Seattle. Jonathan’s extensive design experience includes architectural design, master planning, low- and high- rise office buildings, medical office facilities, high tech, industrial, retail transformation and renovation, and even building and site signage. He has led numerous projects on the front end of the building process to help clients realize their goals by guiding them through conceptual design, preliminary pricing, and city entitlements.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Design and a Master of Architecture degree (with honors) from North Dakota State University. He is an active member of the commercial real estate development association NAIOP, Washington Chapter, and was recently selected for NAIOP’s 2017 Developing Leaders committee.  Jonathan is also an Associate AIA member.

Ware Malcomb Seattle’s recent projects include providing architectural design services for the BKM Tukwila Commerce Center project in Tukwila, Wash., and Medline in Lacey, Wash., interior architecture and design services for the new corporate office of Washington Capital Management Inc. and Booking.com office in Seattle, as well as the common area renovation of the Sparling Technology Center in Lynnwood, Wash.
