Ware Malcomb COMPLETES 15TH PROJECT IN CHINA FOR NONGFU SPRINGS COMPANY
Irvine, California (January 13, 2015) – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced that it has completed the latest of 15 projects for Nongfu Springs Company, Ltd. in China. The most recent project was the design of a new Nongfu Springs bottling plant located in Tongren, Guizhou Province, China. Ware Malcomb master planned the 88,000 square meter (21.7 acre) site and provided conceptual design, schematic design, and design development drawings for the facility.
The 46,000 square meter (495,100 square foot) bottling plant facility is comprised of a two-story office component, four production lines for bottling water, raw materials storage area, preform injector room, mixing room, a raw water treatment area and general warehouse area for storage of finished goods. Because the plant hosts many distinguished visitors, a glass enclosed tour path was created on the mezzanine level to allow visitors to see all of the various aspects of a high-tech bottling plant.
