Ware Malcomb Announces Radwan Madani Promoted to Principal in Los Angeles Office

LOS ANGELES (March 24, 2015) – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced Radwan Madani has been promoted to Principal in the firm’s Los Angeles office. In this role, Madani joins the firm’s senior leadership team in addition to maintaining his current responsibilities in leading the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Madani joined Ware Malcomb in July 2001 in the firm’s Irvine, Calif.-based headquarters and, over the next three years, earned the title of Project Manager. In 2007, he accepted the opportunity to relocate to the firm’s Los Angeles office focusing on operations and business development, and was promoted to Studio Manager in June of that year.  Madani has been responsible for managing and growing the Los Angeles office since 2008. He was promoted to Regional Manager in 2010, and to Regional Director in 2012.  Prior to joining Ware Malcomb, Madani worked as an Architect and Designer on mixed use high-rise projects in the United Arab Emirates.

“It has been a pleasure to work with Radwan and watch his professional growth over the past 14 years at Ware Malcomb,” said Lawrence R. Armstrong, CEO of Ware Malcomb. “Radwan is extremely talented with strong technical experience and excellent client services skills. Since taking the helm of the Los Angeles office, he has grown that business tremendously and established Ware Malcomb at the forefront of the creative office design movement.”

Under Madani’s leadership, Ware Malcomb’s Los Angeles office has been recognized with three consecutive Commercial Real Estate Awards from the Los Angeles Business Journal. This year the firm was honored for its work on the redevelopment of the 91-acre Mission 71 Business Park project located in Pomona, Calif. earning a Silver Award for Best Industrial Project. The firm previously received a Silver Award in the office category for its work in designing the new 100,000 square foot Stamps.com corporate headquarters in 2014, and a Silver Award for Best Industrial Building for 9to5 Seating’s corporate headquarters in 2013.

Madani graduated from the University of Aleppo in Syria with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, and received his U.S. citizenship in 2011. Madani is a Licensed Architect in the State of California, a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction, AIA member, and a 2009-2010 graduate of the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Association’s Young Professional Group.
