WARE MALCOMB ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF RENÉ SANCHEZ TO DIRECTOR, ARCHITECTURE IN MEXICO CITY OFFICE

MEXICO CITY (May 4, 2023) – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced René Sanchez has been promoted to Director, Architecture in the firm’s Mexico City office. In this role, Sanchez is responsible for leading the growth and management of the architecture studio in the Mexico City and Monterrey offices.

“René has made an enormous contribution to our office in his almost 10 years with Ware Malcomb,” said Andres Galvis, Principal for the firm. “Thanks to his leadership, we have diversified into senior housing, education, retail and multistory distribution projects, and look forward to significant continued growth in our region.”

Sanchez was promoted from his previous role as Studio Manager, working with the firm’s regional client base, managing its main accounts, and growing the internal team. His colleagues credit Sanchez for single-handedly establishing the firm’s business in the Torreon region of Mexico through his relationships and leadership. His vast architectural experience includes industrial, office, retail a wide variety of industrial, commercial and corporate projects.

Sanchez earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California.
