Project is One of Many New Creative Office Spaces Designed by Ware Malcomb’s Los Angeles Office

LOS ANGELES (August 11, 2016) – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm based in Southern California, today announced that construction is complete on The Landing at 2040, a creative office building located at 2040 E. Mariposa in El Segundo, Calif. Ware Malcomb provided architectural and interior design services for the project, which is one of many recent creative office spaces designed by the firm’s Los Angeles office.

The project involved taking an approximately 90,000 square foot two-story traditional office building and transforming it into a dynamic creative office space that can be used for single or multi-tenant occupancy. A stunning new geometric building entrance statement now welcomes visitors, along with a two-story structurally glazed lobby wall.  The main building lobby was renovated with new finishes and a common lounge to create the type of space creative and tech savvy tenants are looking for.  The firm also added new tenant walk-out patios at the ground floor and a tenant walk-out balcony at the 2nd floor, along with architectural pop-out features and elements at the exterior of the building, and wrap around sliding doors. These new architectural enhancements provide a dynamic building image and cohesive interior/exterior workplace opportunities.

The developer for the project is Montana Avenue Capital Partners and the General Contractor is Parkwest General Contractors.
