Ware Malcomb Announces Construction is Complete on KLX Aerospace Solutions Facility

WARE MALCOMB ANNOUNCES CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE ON KLX AEROSPACE SOLUTIONS FACILITY

MIAMI (September 10, 2018) – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced construction is complete on the new KLX Aerospace Solutions global headquarters and distribution hub located at the intersection of Northwest 97th Avenue and Northwest 154th Street in Hialeah, Fla. Ware Malcomb provided master planning and architectural design services for the project.

The building is part of the first phase of the planned 95-acre Countyline Corporate Park, a logistics park developed by Flagler Global Logistics. The new facility for KLX Aerospace Solutions, the world’s leading distributor of aerospace hardware and consumables and provider of supply chain management solutions for OEMs, MROs and airlines across the globe, totals over 700,000+ square feet.

The warehouse and office building utilized concrete tilt-up construction along with a metal canopy parking structure located near the main entry. The parking included designated electrical car charging stations. To maximize employee experience of the facility’s café and recreational area, an exterior dining terrace was designed to provide an outdoor seating option. The building’s aeronautical color palette of blue, gray and white reflects the company’s mission and brand.

“Every aspect of this project was designed to meet the complex needs of KLX Aerospace Solutions’ business, while also positioning the company for future growth,” said Reinaldo Gomez, Regional Manager of Ware Malcomb’s Miami office.

The general contractor for the project is Turner Construction.
