WARE MALCOMB ANNOUNCES CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN ON 985 LANIER LOGISTICS CENTER IN BUFORD

ATLANTA (August 30, 2018) – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced design is complete and construction has begun on the new 985 Lanier Logistics Center project located on Georgia State Route 13 and Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford, Georgia. Ware Malcomb provided architectural design services for the project, which is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2019.

The 985 Lanier Logistics project is comprised of three Class A industrial buildings totaling 615,572 square feet. The 44-acre project will accommodate tenant suites ranging from 25,000 to 236,000 square feet. The three buildings – which are 209,252 square feet, 167,080 square feet, and 236,240 square feet in size, respectively – feature 32-foot clear heights and 38- to 42-foot dock high doors. The design incorporates tilt-up concrete panels, glass, and a framed metal canopy at the building’s entrance. To allow for natural daylight, the warehouse features celestory windows throughout. The project also includes 160 tractor-trailer stalls.

985 Lanier Logistics is conveniently located within easy access to Interstates 985 and 85.

The developer of the project is McCraney Property Company and the general contractor is Evans General Contractors.
