WARE MALCOMB ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF VARSITY TUTORS OFFICES IN TEMPE, AZ
PHOENIX (July 10, 2018) – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced the completion of the new offices of Varsity Tutors located at 2120 E. Rio Salado Parkway, Suite 101 in Tempe, Arizona. Ware Malcomb provided interior architecture and design services for the project.
Varsity Tutors’ new 35,000 square foot space includes offices and a sales center. The tenant improvement project features open office space, a training room, conference rooms, a large break room, and multiple collaboration areas.
To achieve a modern office design, existing raw building materials and other elements remained exposed throughout the space. This included an open ceiling, exposed concrete block wall and tilt-up panels. The company’s brand was also incorporated into the design, with books suspended in between light fixtures in the breakroom paying homage to the company’s foundation in education.

The General Contractor for the project was Jokake Construction.
