Ware Malcomb ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF R-COMPUTER OFFICE IN CONCORD
Pleasanton, Calif. (January 28, 2015) – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced construction is complete on the renovated interior of R-Computer’s office located at 3953 Industrial Way in Concord, Calif. Ware Malcomb provided interior design services for the project. R-Computer is a technology company offering innovative computer solutions for small- to medium-sized companies, up to Fortune 500s. The general contractor was Vallee Construction.
The 4,500 square foot tenant improvement project emphasized open spaces and the creation of a San Francisco loft atmosphere. A large open concept café area — with internet bar, built-in coffee machine and custom cabinetry — is the focal point of the entry space and provides a popular gathering space for employees. Exposed brick, brick veneer and reclaimed distressed wood were used throughout the space for a rustic loft feel. The stair treads were made from the old Cal Berkeley stadium benches.
