WARE MALCOMB ANNOUNCES CINDY KANG IS PROMOTED TO DIRECTOR, INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN IN SEATTLE OFFICE
SEATTLE (July 3, 2017) – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced Cindy Kang has been promoted to Director, Interior Architecture & Design in the firm’s Seattle office.
Kang has over 25 years of interior design experience in the Seattle metro area. She spent over 20 years as part of Connell Design Group, growing to become Design Manager and Vice President of the firm. In April 2014, CDG became part of Ware Malcomb at which time she became the Studio Manager of the Interiors team for the Seattle office.
During her time at Connell Design Group, Kang established strong client relationships with building owners, landlords, property managers, and brokers. This facilitated thousands of tenant improvement projects for office and retail spaces, medical clinics, restaurants and dining halls, and industrial users throughout the greater Puget Sound region. Since joining Ware Malcomb, Kang has further developed her team to handle major corporate accounts for Comcast, Xfinity, Red Robin, DaVita, Union Bank, and US Healthworks.

A LEED Accredited Professional, Kang holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from Washington State University.
