Lenovo

Mexico City

Interior architecture and design services for the new 29,060 SF headquarters for Lenovo, located in the Santa Fe district of Mexico City. The global technology company engaged Ware Malcomb with the goal of showcasing the newly merged Lenovo and Motorola brands and cultures in a single synergistic headquarters. The office merges the two brands into a greater whole, all while establishing a feeling of connection with the culture of Mexico City. The design maximizes views of the city and creates a versatile high-tech space featuring a regional, urban look to contrast with the branded showrooms.

Spaces throughout the office headquarters were designed for multiple uses, including huddle rooms for greeting clients, a series of open and private spaces, an auditorium and three cafeterias. Finishes and materials, many of which were created locally, were chosen to create a sense of place and include Mexican ceramic tiles, backsplashes in flooring, acoustic tile, wood surfacing and luxury vinyl tile.
