Interior architecture and design services for an 1,800 SF flagship location. With a high-end portfolio, this space needed to have an elevated, sophisticated feel, while fitting in with its natural surroundings.

Upon entry, you are greeted by a receptionist who sits at a black marble reception desk next to a coffee bar with custom brass and glass shelving details. Guests can then have a seat at the smoldering sofas, overlooking the mountains, or the full media wall with real estate content. Down the corridor is a cluster of shared offices with a copy area for their everyday functions. To the other side is a conference room and the immersion room. The conference room is furnished with a hand crafted back painted glass table with leather chairs. The immersion room gives guests a chance to really experience what Compass has to offer, in a more casual, intimate setting, with a variety of seating opportunities to accommodate parties of different sizes—a leather sectional sofa, a pair of upholstered lounge chairs and a high-top table with stools. These various setups provide the presenter different opportunities to mingle with the clients, all within view of a full media wall. The glass walls into the immersion room allow for natural light, and for passersby to see when the room is occupied.

The office space is also equipped with an eat-in pantry, unisex restroom and IT and storage space. As a sustainability component, the design team reused the existing wood floors that were already in the space, also providing some warmth and a connection to nature. The ceilings throughout were left white and clean, resembling the surrounding snow, and allowing prominence to the other materials and textures. Overall, this space was designed to represent the elevated Compass brand, while paying homage to its location in the heart of Vail.
