Ware Malcomb Warriors Go Pink for Komen OC

For the 2nd year, the Ware Malcomb Warriors (www.waremalcomb.com)  joined together to support the Komen Orange County Race for the Cure (www.komenoc.org)!

As part of Ware Malcomb’s wm health+fitness program, Ware Malcomb employees, families,  friends, clients  and industry partners, raised over $11,350 with 82 participants race day !!

As a recent breast cancer survivor,  I feel blessed and proud to be a part of such an amazing community of people who truly care and want to make a difference!   Unfortunately 1 in 8 women in the US will be diagnosed with the disease in their lifetime. The two biggest risk factors? Being female and getting older.

The money we raise helps fund outreach and breast cancer screenings for disadvantaged  women in our county.  The funds also go to support important national research to find a cure.  We are truly helping save lives!
