Ware Malcomb Making a Difference in the Fight Against Breast Cancer

For the 3rd year in a row, Ware Malcomb formed a race team for the Komen Orange County Race for the Cure (www.komenoc.org). We are proud to share that our team raised over $16,300.00 for Komen Orange County this year!

Our team held some fun and delicious fundraising events including a Bake Sale, Mini Golf Tournament, Salad Bar, Taco Bar, Breakfast Fundraiser, Restaurant Fundraisers, as well as the highly coveted Day Off Raffle.
Our race team, the Ware Malcomb Warriors, recruited 97 team members who either walked or ran in the Race for the Cure 5K, which took place on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Fashion Island in Newport Beach.
We would like to give a special thanks to all of our supporters and sponsors including: Shaw Contract Group, Aetna, KCOMM, Snyder Langston, Trazo, Herman Miller, KPRS, Pivot, ARC and MMNT.
We are happy that are efforts will contribute to early detection, education and care for those battling breast cancer in our local community, as well as important research for improved treatments, and ultimately, a cure.
