Time Warner Cable (TWC) Inc. is among the largest providers of video, high-speed data and voice services in the United States, connecting 15 million customers to entertainment, information and each other.
Ware Malcomb was hired to work on the Time Warner Cable Flagship store. Located in the historic Castro Building in New York City’s iconic Flatiron district, this is TWC’s largest retail location in the United States. Ware Malcomb provided the interior architecture and design for the 14,000 square foot store, which is expected to serve more customers than any other TWC store location. The design included wood flooring throughout the space and custom designed fixtures. This store will be the latest in over 20 retail locations that Ware Malcomb has designed for TWC across the nation.
The new store is designed to offer customers an experience that is completely interactive and immersive, fully loaded with all the latest gadgets, electronics, and services that TWC has to offer. The store welcomes guests with a modern, open floor with TWC’s interactive TV, internet, phone, and IntelligentHome products and services. The store also comes equipped with free WiFi, mobile charging stations, payment processing, hardware pick-up and return, and the ability to decrease wait times with exceptional customer service. The TWC Flagship Experience store will be the first of its kind among the Cable industry.
Ware Malcomb worked together with GCI Inc. in New York, FAME from Minneapolis, Randal Retail, Commercial Services Group, Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, and Reality Interactive in order to bring this project to life.
