Ware Malcomb Designer & our lovely model, Kerem Espejel

Design firms partnered with local furniture dealerships and vendors to create the fashion show design teams.  This year’s theme was, “Passport to International Haute Couture.”  Feature Cities were randomly assigned to contestants as the inspiration for their costume entry.

Ware Malcomb’s theme was the City of Barcelona.  Our team researched imagery for Barcelona in Architecture, Art, Fashion and other relevant topics to drive the concept for our outfit.  The research, design and fabrication were a collaborative team effort with Kerem Espejel as our model and Savana Batt as our seamstress. We incorporated textiles, vinyl mesh wall covering, mosaic tile and flexible continuous LED lighting into our design.

It was an entertaining and inspiring evening!   A portion of the event proceeds went to Dress for Success San Diego, www.dressforsuccess.org.
