As cities and states loosen stay at home orders, what must we consider regarding guidelines and best practices for reopening our offices? Ken discussed the steps Ware Malcomb is taking to adjust to social distancing guidelines as well as what businesses should consider implementing to ensure a safe transition back to the workplace. Some of these methods include:
- Developing floor plans indicating the workstations to be occupied to determine the maximum capacity per floor or wing
- Evaluating common area spaces, conference rooms and lobby waiting areas to ensure that groups can provide appropriate physical distancing
- Implementing signage and wayfinding within the work environment to encourage physical distancing as people move around the space
- Utilizing technology to monitor and increase the wellbeing of the workplace
