Claremont Medical Office Building Earns LEED Silver
Ware Malcomb provided architectural, interior design and graphic design services for this 50,000 SF, two-story Class A LEED® Certified multi-tenant medical office building. The first floor is occupied primarily by Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, and the second floor was designed to support multiple tenants with various medical uses with individual suites ranging from 1,500 SF to 7,000 SF. The medical center includes an urgent care, primary care, imaging, cardiac rehabilitation, physical therapy, along with a sleep disorder center and a community health care meeting facility.
Ware Malcomb’s graphic design studio provided signage design for the facility, including building identification, tenant identification, urgent care, wayfinding, suite identification, room identification, code related signage, and interior and exterior LEED signage.
Claremont Medical Plaza was selected by the City of Claremont Architectural Commission as a recipient of the 2008 Excellence in Design Award in the categories of Sustainable Development, Landscaping, and Public Art. The new medical plaza achieved LEED Silver certification and is among the first LEED-certified projects in Claremont, as well as one of the first LEED-certified medical facilities in California.
